Fishing report

10"Green Crush Spin Doctor/Moo Moo Big Water Meat Rig

10"Blue Bubble Spin Doctor/Cold Steel Big Water Meat Rig

Heavy boat traffic on the Bank north of Ludington today. We set up in the 01's in 100 FOW and trolled north. We weren't marking much so we moved out to 130 FOW and the graph lit up. Lots of marks and some bait. It was 47 degrees down 75 feet. We didn't have much of a morning flurry today. We hit 7 fish and boated 4 of those. Most of our bites were on plugs. We got pushed in shallow by the Point and didn't hit any more fish until we got back out in the 120 - 130 foot range. We kept heading north, and moved out deeper. We switched over to Spin Doctors and Big Water Meat Rigs on our wires and one rigger. Once we hit 180 feet the action really picked up. We ended up working the deeper water and never turned back south until we had our limit. Our Moo Moo and Cold Steel Big Water Meat Rigs were the Stars again today. We had a 10"Green Crush Spin Doctor/Moo Moo Meat Rig out 170' on one low wire diver and a 10" Black Crush Spin Doctor/Moo Moo Meat Rig out 180' on the other low wire and they both went several times. One of our high wire divers had the 10" Blue Bubble Spin Doctor/Cold Steel Meat Rig out 220' and it was real steady. Our chute rigger with a 11" White Paddle/Pickled Sunshine Action Fly down 100 feet was good too. We had a green 8" Spin Doctor/Green Mile Big Water Meat Rig on an out down set at 85' that went 3 times.
